It's rare we have a repeat guest but when you enjoy talking to someone so much and the bring a lot to the table for us and the community you can't turn them away. Few exemplify that more than Dustin Harder, The Vegan Roadie YouTube sensation. Dustin jumped on a call with us a couple months ago to talk about his travels, starting out on the road as The Vegan Roadie and allowed us to get personal with his past and his journey. Now that the feel good stuff is under our belts he dropped by again to talk about the good stuff: season 2 and tasty food.
Season 2 of The Vegan Roadie starts July 7th, subscribe so you don't miss it. Don't worry about having to sit through long episodes, Dustin knows you have cat videos to watch. To give you a time to watch all the Charlie Bit Me's and talking dog videos, he broke his episodes into 5 minute blocks and drops a fourth of an episode every Thursday. You can watch The Vegan Roadie in pieces or wait till the end of the month and watch the whole episode.
We managed to get Dustin to admit to some of his favorite restaurants around the country, some dishes that really surprised him, and a few touching stories about people he's met. I think me managed to make us laugh and cry throughout this episode. Which makes us even more excited for season 2.
We dug into some tips to get local places to either add to their menu or start placing vegan options. Many of the places Dustin visits have starting putting options on their menus through the work of the local community applying some of our suggested techniques and showing we're here and we're a powerful market. Listen to what we had to say and start employing our suggestions on your local dining places, you'll find it actually works.
